Job Summary:

Working closely with the Director of Clinical Services, the Provider Trainer and other members of the Clinical Services Management Team, the Clinical Services Clerical Assistant will be involved in the daily operations of Clinical Services Department and the Episource Provider Network.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate / follow-up with providers during the on-boarding process as requested by members of the Clinical Services Team.
  • Assist the Provider Trainer or other members of the Clinical Services Team as needed during the training phase of provider on-boarding (e.g., maintenance of training documents and the learning platform, provider equipment ordering/management, on-site training venue arrangements, and general assistance to providers).
  • Manage the Clinical Services Voice mailbox (listen to all calls and respond or triage to a member of the Clinical Services Team as needed).
  • Assist in coordinating and submitting travel arrangement requests for members of the Clinical Services Team or Providers performing remote Health Risk Assessments.
  • Assist the Credentialing Team with the management of Providers who are in the credentialing phase of on-boarding (e.g., follow-up on outstanding documentation, answering provider questions, assistance with technical difficulties).
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Services with communication to and contracting of Episource Collaborative Physicians.
  • Assist members of the Clinical Services Team with handling non-urgent case management referrals and delivering them to client contacts as instructed.
  • Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May be assigned other duties as necessary to maintain the Episource Provider Network.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Able to work in a diverse environment and collaborate with others across various disciplines and departments.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some standing, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
