Episource, with over 3000 employees worldwide, is a leading provider of risk adjustment services and solutions for health plans.  Our services help Medicare Advantage, Commercial/Exchange, and Medicaid managed care plans improve and support accurate reimbursement in a post-Affordable Care Act market. Our services include retrospective chart reviews, medical record retrieval, HEDIS/ACO quality reporting, and data analytics, allowing payers and providers to dramatically reduce costs and improve quality of care.


The Product Analyst collaborates with the Product team (engineering, QA, Product Owners) in conveying a clear product vision to the scrum teams. The Product Analyst is primarily responsible for creating a well ideated set of user stories, that support the product and our risk adjustment platform. The Product Analyst works with end users to identify opportunities for automation and digitization of our applications. In the same vein the product analyst will at times lead training on several customer facing application.

  • Translates client issues to user stories.
  • Writes user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Documents workflows and wireframes that will be used to support UI/UX design and development.
  • Keeps up to date with Risk Adjustment industry knowledge and leverages this in product development.
  • Assists with the implementation planning process.
  • Promotes continuous improvement of the scrum teams.
  • Training end users on best practices of the applications.
  • May be assigned other duties.
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Support for other business areas as required.
  • This position has / has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department and organization.


  • 3-5 years of experience working in an Agile Software Development environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Analyst
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in healthcare
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with SQL
  • Proactive work ethic, desire to challenge the status quo, and strong focus on the voice of the customer.
  • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment with medium to large scale projects.
  • Possesses an innovative spirit, is high energy, with ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong organization, documentation, change management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well with teams and the ability to influence peers, scrum teams and management.
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Possesses basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Occasional travel to client site no more than 4 times a year

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
