Episource is seeking a motivated Solution Analyst to assist in our new business and service line development. This role will assist by conducting analysis, providing deeper insight into historical and operational data, developing processes, and creating product and service pitch materials. The Solution Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment utilizing tools such as Salesforce, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. The role will be responsible for the entire life cycle of analysis: starting with identifying sources of data, conducting research and analysis, preparing insights, and creating explanatory materials to meet the needs of our internal stakeholders and external clients.

The Solution Analyst will focus on providing insights from internal and external data sources, organizing findings into timely and accurate analyses for various stakeholders, and creating presentation materials in support of strategic business objectives. The role will interface with the Client Services, Product Development, and Operations teams.

  • Works within HIPAA or other strict information security-controlled environments
  • Maintains data security and integrity in all phases of the data pipeline (inputs, processing, reports, and exports)
  • Synthesizes data from multiple sources and utilizes it to extract concrete insights
  • Performs industry research to identify new programs, services, and potential business partners
  • Builds pricing models and presents analysis for new services and workflows
  • Creates internal and external client-focused exports in various formats including PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
  • Provides internal stakeholders accurate and timely reports on all aspects of our core business
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • May be assigned other duties
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of process flow documentation tools including Microsoft Visio desired, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards desired, but not required

Education / Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and three years of data analytics and/or reporting experience
  • Experience creating presentations for clients and internal stakeholders including executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Enjoys working in a small business, team driven environment
  • Takes initiative in all aspects of their work
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and provide validation of results
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on the business need
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Demonstrates the core competencies of: business acumen, communication, consultation, ethical practice, and relationship management

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
