With half of the year already come and gone, third quarter Risk Adjustment needs to account for shortcomings in performance and capitalize on successful campaigns. Before the second half of the year, health plans have an opportunity to improve clinical documentation omissions or errors, meet with patients in-person or virtually, and develop chart review campaigns to record codes and identify issues in charting that can be corrected before the end of the year.

Sujata Bajaj, Senior Vice President of Product Development

Su has built extensive solutions for payors, including ACOs, Medicaid, MA, and the ACA exchange. She uses technology to integrate Revenue Programs with Quality and Care Management while maintaining a dedication to adding value to the beneficiary’s experience with the health plan through those solutions. Su has a Bachelors in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

 

Meleah Bridgeford, Director of Risk Adjustment, Payer Solutions

Areas of expertise: epiEncounter, Submissions

Meleah oversees Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Risk Adjustment Analytics and Services at Episource, providing strategy and planning. Effectively utilizing data to tell the story of risk adjustment within organizations, she has created many action plans around the goals of improving reporting and accuracy of data. She has over ten years of experience within healthcare organizations as well as vendor/consultant organizations. Meleah has a bachelors in Psychology as well as an MBA.

 

 

Dakisha Allen, Product Director and Sales Support

Areas of expertise: epiEncounter, Submissions

Dakisha is the product owner for our In-home and Telehealth Risk Assessment Solutions. She is responsible for designing and strategizing product solutions to support actions for members to maintain good health, reduce risks, and prevent disease. She has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Texas Southern University, an  MBA from the University of Houston as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

 

Vijaya Vishwanathan, Product Manager

Areas of expertise: epiAnalyst, Analytics

Vijaya serves as the Product Manager for EpiAnalyst and Epiconnect. She brings with her more than 17 years of industry experience and has focused the majority of her career around the tech space of healthcare working on the health plan side. She is well versed in client, member, provider, MMR/MOR, claims, and Rx data. She has built a number of products while at health plans to support open enrollment, provider outreach, and pharmacy-related initiatives. She uses her deep health plan knowledge to build and implement products that add value and provide solutions for both plans and providers.

 

Eric Segal, Solution Design Consultant

Areas of expertise: Provider engagement and inquiry, RAF playbook, Dual Eligible Enrollment

As Solution Design Consultant at Episource, Eric’s role places him at the intersection of Client Services, Product, and Operations, with a focus on the strategic development and execution of innovative healthcare solutions. Prior to joining Episource, he founded a mobile application development company with teams in the US, India, and Singapore, and served as an Emergency Medical Technician in South Los Angeles. Eric earned his BA from Lehigh University and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Erik Simonsen, Chief Operating Officer

Areas of expertise: Coding, Retrieval, Telehealth 

Erik is responsible for the delivery of onshore and offshore coding services, record retrieval, IT infrastructure, and compliance. His knowledge in engineering, finance, and operations enables him to continuously improve performance and operational transparency for clients. He has over 10 years’ experience managing outsourced centers, and substantive backgrounds in investment banking and technology. Erik has a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from NYU Stern.

 

 

Patricia Miller, Product Manager of Interoperability

Areas of expertise: Interoperability

Patricia Miller is the Product Manager of Interoperability. She comes to Episource with over 12 years experience as a solution architect creating Health Information Exchanges (HIE) between health systems and providers, and acquiring data at scale for population health and analytics.

Leanne Nadeau, Director of Clinical Services

Areas of expertise: In Home Health Assessments  

As the Director of Clinical Services at Episource, Leanne oversees the provider network and is an integral part of the development and implementation of our clinical service offerings. She is a designated Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) and a physician assistant (PA-C), with 28 years of clinical practice experience in Emergency Medicine and Geriatrics. Leanne obtained her Bachelors in Psychobiology from Mount Holyoke College and a Master’s in Health Professions and Physician Assistant Certificate from Northeastern University in Boston. 

 

Amy Ruth, Manager, Clinical Business Operations

Areas of expertise: In Home Health Assessments  

Amy manages Episource’s Clinical Business Operations for risk and quality programs across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial populations. With more than 10 years of healthcare management experience, she works closely with clients to bring a strategic and transparent approach to project execution. Amy has a BS in Political Science from University of California, San Diego and a JD in Corporate Law from California Western School of Law.

Andrew Perlstein, Vice President, Client Services

Areas of expertise: Client Services

Andrew is responsible for Episource’s Client Services division and ensures that client organizations derive maximum value from their Episource partnerships. He has over 15 years of client relations experience in the healthcare industry and has held a variety of leadership roles with McKesson Corporation, RelayHealth (a division of Change Healthcare), and The Advisory Board Company. Andrew earned his Bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from Duke University.

 

 

Sales: 

 

Patrick Mascari, Sales Executive

Patrick has been an integral part of the Episource sales team since 2017. During this time he has helped forge relationships with health plans, ACO, IPAs, and medical groups that need assistance with all things risk adjustment. He has spent more than 20 years building deep partnerships with healthcare organizations. His extensive knowledge in Risk Adjustment and Quality solutions across Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Medicaid lines of business includes: analytical suspecting, retrospective record retrieval and HCC coding, RAPS-EDS-EDGE error management and submissions, prospective in-home health assessments and telehealth visits for physician offices and health plans.

 

Greg Lea, Senior Sales Executive

Greg is responsible for overseeing Episource’s overall sales strategy and works to build partnerships with Health Plans, Medical Groups and IPAs across the country to ensure they are aware of the benefits of Episource’s Risk Adjustment product lines. With more than 15 years of healthcare management experience, he has served as Vice President of Client Services as well as opening and operating several offices for one of the nation’s largest healthcare services organizations.

 

 

Kim Francour, Vice President, Sales 

Kim’s career has focused on collaborating with healthcare executives to improve patient care and positively impact business outcomes. She has partnered with a broad range of health plans and providers to deliver solutions ranging from risk adjustment, telehealth, payer-provider collaboration, consumer engagement, and AI/casual machine learning.  Kim has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and currently resides in Boston, MA.

 

 

Danny O’Very, Vice President, Sales 

Danny is responsible for leading the nationwide sales strategy and partnership development at Episource. He is passionate about delivering value to payers, plans and provider organizations with each interaction. For over 20 years, he has played a significant role in the growth of several healthcare organizations. He has a Bachelors in Mass Communication from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Harshith Ramesh, Co-CEO 

As Co-CEO of Episource, Harshith is primarily responsible for new product development and global operations. Prior to joining Episource, he was in the investment banking industry, focusing on M&A, restructuring, and capital markets assignments. He has worked for a range of global institutions, including Moelis & Co., Bain & Co., and Bear, Stearns & Co. Harshith earned his Bachelors at Tulane University, and an MBA from the Wharton School.

 

 

Sishir Reddy, Co-CEO

As co-founder and CEO of Episource, Sishir oversees the global organization of 1,500+ people, motivating and leading teams around the company’s vision and goals. By leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry, including revenue cycle management and medical coding services, he has helped make Episource a leading provider of Payer-focused solutions. Sishir received a BA in Chemistry from Claremont Mckenna College and a MIS from the Claremont Graduate University.
